Technical Product Assembler

Our firm is representing a specialized manufacturing leader in Pasco County seeking a detail-oriented Technical Product Assembler. This is a hands-on role perfect for an individual who enjoys a variety of tasks, from mechanical box builds to technical component programming. You will work in a professional production environment, supporting the Product Manager to ensure every unit meets rigorous safety and reliability standards.

The ideal candidate is someone who operates with high integrity, values a respectful team culture, and is eager to gain long-term exposure to advanced product testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General & Final Assembly: Perform a variety of hands-on manufacturing tasks, including building product tops, constructing boxes, and gluing plastic components.

  • Safety Testing (Hi-Pot): Conduct hi-pot testing (High Potential) to verify product safety and electrical reliability.

  • Component Programming: Program integrated circuits (ICs) and work with PC programs to complete specific technical assignments.

  • Quality Assurance: Assist with product testing and work from written and verbal instructions to ensure all units meet established procedures.

  • Equipment Operation: Use a variety of production equipment, including hand tools, micrometers, and test fixtures.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and work with simple operating procedures for hand tools and PC programs.

  • Manual Dexterity: Steady hand-eye coordination for handling basic lab equipment, hand tools, and non-written materials like PCBs.

  • Physical Ability: Capability to routinely remain in a stationary position and move or transport items under 10 lbs, with occasional lifting of items over 10 lbs.

  • Visual Accuracy: Ability to routinely read documents for general understanding and perform careful reviews of non-written materials.

  • Professional Values: A commitment to core values of honesty, respect, and dedication to a positive team culture.

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is a plus.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $18.00
