You will be responsible for building and embedding the sales, commercial, and onboarding strength of the Managed Services business. Reporting directly to the Managed Services Managing Director, this role integrates commercial strategy, contracting and negotiation leadership, and onboarding enablement to ensure Managed Services scales sustainably, profitably, and with strong governance discipline. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role critical to the successful mobilisation and long-term growth of Managed Services.
Your day-to-day could include:
- Define and execute commercial strategy aligned to Managed Services growth
- Lead pricing models, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Establish commercial guardrails to protect margin and manage risk
- Lead contract structuring, negotiations, and risk mitigation with Legal
- Oversee bid governance, commercial playbooks, and approval processes
- Support complex deals, pipeline conversion, and cross-BU opportunities
- Analyse market trends to drive growth, partnerships, and strategy
Skills and experience:
- A minimum of 15 years' experience in managed services or outsourced business processing with a proven track record of building client relationships and scaling services.
- Degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field
- Professional Certifications - advantageous e.g. commercial management, charted institute of marketing, Procurement and Supply
- Experience leading large, cross-functional teams with complex governance.
- Proven expertise in managing 24/7 service operations, SLA frameworks, incident management, and operational resilience.
- Strong executive stakeholder engagement skills, with credibility at CIO/CTO and C-suite levels.
- Experience managing large cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore models.
- Familiarity with platform-based delivery (Salesforce, Microsoft, Workiva, Atlassian), ideally having built and grown a services platform.
- Change Management: Experience leading organised change and process improvement.
