Pylon

Provides tools for developers to build, manage, and scale financial products and integrations via unified banking and payments APIs.

At Pylon, We're Building The Future Of B2B Post Sales

We're building the all-in-one B2B post-sales support platform powered by conversational data and layered with intelligence to help our customers run their operations in real-time.

We're backed by a16z, BCV, General Catalyst, Y Combinator. Currently more than 1300 companies including Linear, Cognition (makers of Devin), Modal Labs, and Incident.io run their support and customer success workflows with Pylon. You'll also find us on the Enterprise Tech 30 List.

About The Role

We're looking for a Marketing Designer who can own the look and feel of Pylon across every channel - and move fast. This isn't a "make things pretty" role. You'll be the creative engine behind our brand and growth marketing: translating briefs and performance insights into compelling design, directing an external production agency for video and motion assets, and jumping in yourself when we need sharp static creative turned around quickly.

Your scope spans the full marketing surface area including paid campaigns, website and landing pages, product marketing collateral, sales enablement, and event materials. You'll be the primary steward of our brand guidelines and the person who ensures everything Pylon puts out looks like it came from the same confident, coherent company.

What You'll Do:

Brand ownership

  • Own and maintain Pylon's brand guidelines
  • Ensure consistency across every consumer-facing touchpoint and push back constructively when something goes off-brand
  • Be the internal creative authority — identify design needs proactively, prioritize them, and lead execution end-to-end
  • Extend our brand into investor presentations, crafting decks that communicate our story and traction with clarity and strong visuals

Growth & campaign design

  • Design high-quality creative for paid media (LinkedIn, Google, display) and organic social — quickly, on your own, without a lot of hand-holding
  • Design and optimize website and campaign landing pages in collaboration with the growth team
  • Translate briefs, concepts, and performance data into clear, compelling visual design

Product marketing & sales enablement

  • Design product marketing assets: one-pagers, pitch decks, case studies, and presentation templates
  • Produce editorial content with visual clarity including ebooks, proposals, and event materials
  • Create both digital and print-ready assets for sales and customer-facing teams
  • Support event and conference-related landing pages in collaboration with marketing and product

Agency & production management

  • Direct our external production agency for video, GIFs, and motion assets. Brief work clearly, review deliverables critically, and hold them to brand standard
  • Manage timelines and feedback loops so production doesn't become a bottleneck
  • Know when to commission versus when to execute in-house

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing and/or brand design, ideally at a B2B tech company or fast-moving agency
  • A portfolio that shows range: brand identity and campaign work alongside editorial and sales enablement materials (decks, one-pagers, ebooks)
  • Proven experience managing or directing an external creative agency or freelancers, with strong feedback and communication skills
  • Skilled at collaborating cross-functionally with growth, product marketing, and sales teams to translate business needs into design
  • Expert in Figma; proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • You're fast. You can ship a high-quality static asset in a few hours when the team needs it
  • You identify design needs independently, structure your own priorities, and lead projects from brief to delivery without being managed closely
  • Comfortable presenting creative decisions to stakeholders and pushing back when needed

Bonus Points

  • Experience building or evolving a brand design system or component library
  • Motion design, video editing, or GIF production skills
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and a curiosity to experiment
  • Background at an early-stage or growth-stage B2B SaaS company

What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days, Pylon's brand guidelines are documented, current, and actively used. The agency relationship is running smoothly. The marketing and sales teams can move quickly with reliable design support and systems in place. In year one, the work you've shipped is cohesive, recognizable, and performing — and the systems you've built make it easier for the company to scale creatively without losing brand integrity.
