As the Mechanical Design Manager, you will oversee the design and implementation of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire life & safety and other related mechanical systems) that support Education, Security, Religious and Healthcare facilities within the city. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all systems are seamlessly integrated and contribute to the overall functionality and aesthetic of our development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the mechanical design processes for city assets, ensuring alignment with project objectives, quality standards, and sustainability goals.
• Oversee the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems across various projects, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive design solutions that enhance the user experience.
• Review and approve design calculations, specifications, and drawings, ensuring design integrity and compliance with applicable codes.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and provide guidance to contractors and subcontractors.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and designers, fostering professional development and a collaborative work environment.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical design technology, methodologies, and regulations to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Prepare and present technical reports and design proposals to stakeholders and senior management.
