Internship Opportunity At Pratt & Whitney

Pratt & Whitney, a recognized leading producer of the world's most advanced commercial and military turbine engines, is seeking talented college students to join our organization in an internship capacity. This internship position is within Pratt & Whitney's Middletown Connecticut – Assembly Equipment Engineering Design team.

What You Will Do

  • Responsibilities may include working on tasks related to commercial engines, military engines or both depending on business need. May be required to obtain a security clearance.
  • Learn about Pratt & Whitney engines, the assembly and disassembly process, and the custom assembly equipment utilized in building engines.
  • Put engineering knowledge into work helping solve real-world, mechanical engineering-based problems.
  • Learn and utilize Siemens NX CAD and ANSYS Workbench software for modeling, drafting and analyzing custom assembly equipment designs.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures and completing all required training.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
