We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our Verification Test System Design Organization as a Data Scientist/Engineer/Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting large datasets to analyzing risk to support the development and validation of aircraft engine systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will drive improvements in engine performance and reliability using existing system engineering risk models.

Responsibilities may include working on tasks related to commercial engines, military engines or both depending on business need. May be required to obtain a security clearance.

Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models to forecast risk factors in support of engine validation planning.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and other stakeholders to define engine validation data requirements and analyze datasets.

Apply statistical models to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in engine validation datasets to extract actionable insights.

Design and implement data visualization dashboards and reports to communicate findings effectively.

Develop and publish new knowledge assets within EKS (ESW, K-Packs, GB, training, etc.)

Communicate results and insights to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner.

Our intern program seeks to help you develop an understanding of the aerospace industry and learn about our company and its operations.

Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0

Programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages.

Experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.

Experience in SQL and working with relational databases.

Experience with aircraft engine systems and validation processes.

Relocation will be offered for those who qualify.
