P&W's team is developing a new hybrid-electric propulsion technology that will significantly improve the aircraft's efficiency. By optimizing performance in the various phases of flight, this will enable a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared to a modern turboprop regional airliner. The electrical propulsion is a central component of the future hybrid-electric propulsion system and is a vital product for several P&W initiatives at the aerospace propulsion frontier.

Our expectations: Support P&WC to stay top-of-the-art in its Model-based Definition (MBD) / Computer-aided Design (CAD) practices, by supporting the update and implementation of MBD, current CAD methods and documentation, and validation process.
