The Brand Specialist Product Marketing plays the critical role of supporting marketing efforts designed to win new consumers, drive increased product consumption with current consumers, and build and reinforce brand love. Additionally, they will be responsible for the various communication, approval, and reporting processes to Global, internal field, and cross-functional partners. They will assist the Sr. Brand Manager, Product Marketing in delivering, concept to completion, best in class marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be strong in project and process management, with a keen eye for detail and bringing brand plans to life in field and trade.
Consumer Marketing Campaigns
Lead all activation prizing sourcing and fulfilment, managing all data & outreach for participants
Lead from creation to product all supporting tools for activations, including but not limited to, field tools, OPL kits, and ad hoc communication assets.
Support team on creating exceptional programming that is brought to life across full 360 marketing & sales touchpoints.
Support go-to-market plans for limited-time product offerings, managing the product lifecycle workflow across internal systems and ensuring successful execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams (sales, distribution, marketing, and operations).
Occasions Marketing
Lead Full year strategy, calendar planning, and heightened regional approach when it comes to Always On and Big Moments marketing, including through year media plan & optimization.
Support Field and On Premise Marketing with ad-hoc cartoon creation requests with moment of need development.
Brief & provide feedback to internal and global agencies in creation process of new, locally-relevant cartoons.
Ensure campaigns are compliant to local laws (eg: securing Canadian IP rights & regulatory clearance), while maintaining brand standards.
Systems Management
Manage global alignment input systems, mid-campaign tracking, and quarterly pre/post reports for product marketing.
Manage overall processes, timing, required resources and workflow to ensure a smooth and successful cross-functional execution of consumer activations and occasions programs.
Cross Functional & 3rd Party Marketing Support
Collaborate closely with the Field & On Premise marketing to ensure regional relevancy, field tool development and execution, as well as any ad Hoc requests to support special projects.
Proactively exchange ideas between Brand and cross-functional marketing teams to challenge traditions.
Be the brand guardian for the marketing team to advise and give guidance on all field activity and tools, closely collaborating to create the most impactful marketing calendar and executional plan to excite 3rd party partners.
Support Shopper Marketing & On Premise Marketing with cross-functional program needs – visual identity creation, bi-weekly status reports, etc.
Qualifications
1-3 years' experience in Marketing, ideally within FMCG sector or with lifestyle brand experience.
Someone that thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
Experience working within, or managing, creative and media agencies preferred.
Skilled in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel.
Demonstrated success of building brands in the trade.
Precise attention to detail and exceptional project and time management.
Creative thinker and innovator.
Ability to manage cross-functionally and up.
Self-starter, able to work independently with confidence.
