Field Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Field Marketing Specialist (internal title: Consumer Collecting Specialist) to join an engaged Consumer Collecting Team. You will work closely with the Head of Consumer Collecting and our other Consumer Collecting Specialist. Additionally, you will collaborate with our more than 40 Student Marketeers, who are actively present in the larger cities around Denmark.

In this role, you will lead our Student Marketeer Team (Denmark's coolest study job), which works daily to create memorable experiences around Denmark. Your responsibility will be to ensure that our products truly speak to consumers and create a strong connection between them and our brand. Last but not least, you will become part of a 20-person marketing team where passion, drive, dedication, lots of energy, and good mood are part of everyday life.

Find new consumers

  • Develop and implement a sampling strategy in collaboration with the Head of Consumer Collecting to strengthen the knowledge of Red Bull's products and their functionality.
  • Create relevance in different consumption situations and needs by using targeted sampling in everyday life and at the most important local events.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the team, so that the objectives are met, and the sampling effort becomes a success.
  • Expand the reach through indirect sampling activities and surprise consumers in unexpected situations.

Increase sales and distribution

  • Integrate promotional activities in collaboration with Red Bull's sales departments as a central part of the program. The focus is on increasing distribution, stimulating sales, creating excitement among partners, and improving visibility in retail.

Recruitment, training, and management

  • Support the Head of Consumer Collecting in the recruitment process by selecting relevant candidates for the Field team and conducting group interviews.
  • Ensure that the team is well-dressed to create positive experiences for consumers and handle any challenges or misunderstandings about the product.
  • Train and lead the team with a motivating and trust-based approach, giving them ownership of their goals and opportunities for personal development.
  • Actively participate in fieldwork together with Student Marketeers, and coach them to deliver high quality and engagement in their work, so the brand is strengthened and consumers connect with it.
  • Inspire and engage the team by sharing the strategy and clarifying how their efforts contribute to the overall goals.
  • Create a developing environment where team members can grow and identify talents that can have further development opportunities in the organization – both nationally and internationally.
  • Plan and hold regular meetings, idea exchanges, team-building activities, and workshops.

Effectiveness, data, and administration

  • Use tools and analyze to measure the effort, identify improvement opportunities, and create valuable insights into consumer behavior and program effectiveness.
  • Implement national and international best practices with a focus on the program's goals.
  • Understand the consumers, and adapt your approach to match different situations and needs – both through direct and indirect sampling.
  • Manage and maintain branded equipment such as POS materials, cars, and other tools, so they always appear professional and presentable.
  • Handle consumer inquiries with a focus on providing the best possible service and support.

Qualifications

  • You have experience from internships, a graduate program, or a previous role as a team leader.
  • You are passionate about working with people and want to learn to lead and motivate a team.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, a sense for details, and an ambition to deliver quality in everything you do.
  • You have the ability to create a positive and creative team environment and are willing to test new ideas and evaluate the results.
  • You have strong communication skills in both writing and speaking and are confident in presenting and teaching.
  • You are open to flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate Student Marketeers’ teaching schedule and participate in internal and external events.
  • The position involves approximately 25% travel activity in Denmark (equivalent to one workday per month) focusing on training the team and evaluating their work in the field.
  • Education: Relevant higher education in marketing, strategy, data analysis, or project management is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Language: Danish and English (written and spoken).
