Shopper Marketing Specialist
The Shopper Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies focused on shopper behavior at the point of sale. This role is responsible for bringing the brand to life at the point of sale by designing and executing shopper marketing activations that influence purchase decisions. This role connects shopper insights with creative campaigns, guaranteeing visibility and engagement in-store. By managing POS activations and reinforcing Perfect Store principles, the Shopper Marketing Specialist drives conversion and helps secure the brand's leadership at the shelf.
SHOPPER MARKETING CAMPAIGNS & ACTIVATIONS
- Support the design, planning and execution of shopper marketing activations in key retailers and channels.
- Adapt global and national brand strategies into relevant in-store campaigns that influence shopper choice.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to maximize campaign impact across touchpoints
POS MATERIALS & RETAIL MEDIA
- Assist in the creation, stock management and correct use of POS materials for activations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and agencies to deliver high-quality solutions (stoppers, wobblers, retail media, digital).
- Ensure consistency in brand visibility across different formats and shopper occasions.
SHOPPER INSIGHTS & CATEGORY PROJECTS
- Gather and consolidate insights on shopper behavior, purchase drivers and barriers.
- Use insights to support decision-making for in-store campaigns.
- Support the implementation of category projects by ensuring in-store activations are insight-driven
PERFECT STORE PRINCIPLES
- Reinforce Perfect Store guidelines in the design and execution of activations.
- Support training of internal stakeholders on shopper touchpoints and visibility standards.
BUDGET EXECUTION & TRACKING
- Execute and monitor the shopper marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources, strict alignment with pre-defined BP initiatives, and ongoing tracking of spend vs. forecast to maximize ROI.
- Aligned, execute and monitor the budget defined per campaign pre defined in Business Planning, reporting any deviation to the Category & Trade Marketing Manager.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or related roles.
- Knowledge of category management principles, shopper behavior, and Perfect Store execution.
- Strong analytical skills and results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and preferably Nielsen.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and execution-driven
