Team Description

The Reddit Ads team is poised to innovate and grow rapidly like never before. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team that will shape how we monetize the Reddit platform and help connect Redditors with brands they love. The SMB team's vision is to make Reddit a destination for businesses of all sizes. We are building 0->1 products to create a diversified business. You will work closely with multiple teams across the Ads platform influencing roadmap and decisions to grow ARPA and retention. This includes growing unmanaged advertiser spend, reactivation and better recommendations across advertiser segments.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Set a vision, goal and compelling strategy based on customer pain points based on qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Bias for Action: Drive the team towards execution breaking down the strategy to longer term roadmap and quarterly OKRs. Manage the product launch process and continuously monitor performance, iterating towards the north star goal.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analytics and customer feedback to identify pain points, opportunities, and areas for improvement in the SMB activation and retention. Able to make trade-offs backed by a clear decisioning process.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships and collaborate with engineering, Data science, UX, marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment.
  • Communication: As a senior member of the Product Management team and the product owner, you'll regularly communicate across functions and the entire ads team, including frequently presenting to C-level executives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working on large initiatives, across teams, and on highly cross-functional products
  • 8+ years of product management experience in a technology company
  • Experience in growing SMB advertiser base
  • Experience with building recommendations advertising solutions
  • A track record of developing and championing product strategy and vision with quantifiable business impact
  • A compelling influencer with demonstrated experience working with Sales & Marketing teams, along with other cross functional teams to drive alignment, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills.
  • Technical degree (computer science, engineering, mathematics, economics or related field)

Plus:

  • Strong depth of understanding with Machine Learning, and experience driving strategy for ML based AdTech products

The base pay range for this position is: $217,000 - $303,900 USD
