Marketing Intern

We are currently looking for a Marketing Intern to join us in Beijing, China. You will work closely with a senior mentor to gain technical knowledge and experience in your field, and cooperate with a broader international team both locally and globally. You'll have the opportunity to learn daily marketing operation, and how to plan and execute marketing events and social marketing activities, develop a knowledge of the Red Hat portfolio and gain broad experience in various aspects of marketing, such as product marketing, event marketing, social and digital marketing, etc. You can expect real-world projects where you gain an understanding of each stage of the marketing funnel.

The focus for Red Hat's Intern Program is a dual partnership between the Emerging Talent Team, and our intern manager. We can offer you professional development, social engagement and networking, performance and development, and meaningful work throughout your time at Red Hat.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Program Manager to develop and execute solution/product promotion campaign
  • Assist with the setup of events and webinars, processing of registrations, email reminders, and follow-up emails.
  • Collate and analyze organizational data in order to build account intelligence and profiling, using various online tools and platforms
  • Support campaign tracking codes creations or work on paid media plans
  • Participate in presenting results and progress reports to key stakeholders in marketing

What You Will Bring:

  • Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines and analyze data to foster data-driven decisions
  • Passion and willingness to support crafting and implementation of marketing campaigns
  • Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and examine how things work internally
  • Willingness to learn and proactively work as a part of a wider team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English
  • Full time matriculated student from tertiary institution, graduating in 2027 and/ or later
  • Able to commit internships between 6- 12 months from January 2026, part-time or full-time commitment can be considered
