Conduct Product Discovery: Engage with internal stakeholders (likely Legal, Compliance, Risk, Product, etc.). Understand compliance-related topics that may be vague or complex. Ask the right questions to uncover underlying needs, risks, and requirements. Break Down the Work: Decompose broad compliance initiatives into smaller, manageable components. Identify dependencies, prioritization, and scope of each part. Value Quantification: Assign business value or risk mitigation value to each component. Possibly use frameworks like RICE, MoSCoW, or Weighted Scoring to prioritize. Collaborate with Engineers: Translate the broken-down work into technical terms. Work with engineers to get high-level LOE (Level of Effort) estimates. Ensure alignment between business value and technical feasibility.
