Strategic It Asset Management Product Owner

CVS Health is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking, and technically proficient IT Asset Management (ITAM) Product Owner to lead the vision, execution, and continuous improvement of our enterprise ITAM capabilities within the ServiceNow platform. This role is instrumental in driving the evolution of CVS Health's asset lifecycle strategy—spanning hardware, software, and configuration items—by aligning product delivery with business goals, compliance mandates, and digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Collaboration Collaborate with the ITAM functional team to define and maintain strategic vision and roadmap for the ServiceNow ITAM modules, including HAM Pro, SAM Pro, and CMDB.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirements Management Engage with cross-functional stakeholders across IT, procurement, finance, compliance, and operations to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business needs. Translate complex requirements into actionable user stories and maintain a well-groomed product backlog.
- Platform Integration & Process Optimization Oversee the integration of ServiceNow ITAM with related enterprise systems such as procurement, vendor management, and discovery tools. Drive process improvements that enhance asset lifecycle visibility, reduce manual effort, and ensure data consistency across platforms.
- Governance, Compliance & Risk Mitigation Ensure the ITAM products support the processes ensuring adherence to internal audit, regulatory, and security standards. Implement controls and reporting mechanisms to support compliance, reduce risk exposure, and maintain accurate asset records for audits and operational planning.
- Innovation, Automation & AI Enablement Champion the use of AI, machine learning, and automation to enhance asset intelligence, forecasting, and lifecycle management. Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies that improve operational efficiency and support CVS Health's broader digital health strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow and 5+ years in IT Asset Management and Product Ownership.
- 5+ years' experience in ServiceNow ITAM modules (HAM Pro, SAM Pro, CMDB).
- 3+ years' experience in managing a team of engineers and developers.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in asset lifecycle management and operational forecasting.
- 5+ years' experience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic delivery environment with versatility to manage multiple projects, priorities, and urgent issues successfully and simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate with team members in a virtual setting.

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – HAM Pro
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SAM Pro
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- ITIL v4 Foundation
- IAITAM certifications (e.g., CHAMP, CITAM)
Education
- Bachelor degree from accredited university or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $130,295.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
