In this position you are responsible for the proper execution of all marketing and product management activities as well as the operational and strategic orientation of all product groups, projects and business units under your responsibility with the aim of ensuring their economic success.
Additionally you develop strategies for the optimal support of our target groups and develop new ways in marketing and sales. You are co-responsible for supporting and implementing the necessary measures for achieving the
goals and controlling the results, thus actively guiding our products through all phases of the product life cycle in intensive partnership with the marketing and sales force.
What you can expect:
As Director Marketing you will take over leadership of the department in line with the Roche Leadership Commitments. This includes further development of the organizational unit and its employees in form of coaching and regular feedback.
You will lead the team to establish the product strategy including product lifecycle strategy, launch strategy, portfolio management and go-to-market strategy.
In addition, you are responsible for the management or collaboration of various projects on a regional level.
Your goal is to guarantee patient access with efficient marketing strategies and to develop a local marketing plan to drive market share growth and achievement of sales targets.
You represent the company in this function externally and internally and you are responsible for a positive company image.
You identify, drive and oversee execution of innovative strategies, plans and tactics for the marketing department.
You are responsible for maximizing opportunities and synergies across multiple brands/franchises and select, develop and evaluate employees ensuring the efficient operation of the function.
You are a member of the local leadership team and responsible for driving and shaping the agile and organizational culture.

You are a successful leader with marketing experience in larger medical technology, pharmaceutical or other science-driven business (B2B) ( >8 years)
You have in driving agility, digital transformation, and fostering a learning mindset for future skills.
You have relevant experience in the strategic alignment of a marketing organisation and are able to balance global and local as well as internal and external influencing factors.
You enjoy shaping the future and do not leave things to chance. Sound experience in project /management and change management help you in this regard.
You bring comprehensive competencies across the entire marketing mix (4Ps) and have proven successful development and implementation of new approaches.
Sales/field service experience and knowledge in the diagnostics environment are beneficial.
You have proven ability to lead other leaders effectively and have excellent coaching and change management skills.
You are fluent in German and English.
