At Room & Board, our part-time Design/Retail Sales Associate role (3 days a week, 8-hour shifts including weekends) offers an amazing way to balance your current life's work with a fulfilling part-time career. As a valued member of our collaborative design team, you'll help customers create homes they love by leveraging technology, tools, and resources in thoughtful and innovative ways. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by a fast-paced environment and thrives when navigating a wide range of customer interactions throughout each shift.
Because of the volume and pace of our showroom, success in this role requires a high degree of self-direction, time management, and agility. You'll need to move seamlessly between customer conversations, project work, and independent tasks—making confident decisions about how to structure your time and where to focus your energy.

Store hours:
Monday – Friday: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The schedule will be confirmed at the point of offer.
You'll enjoy one weekend off every 4 weeks. The week in which you have the weekend off, your (2) weekend shifts will be scheduled during the weekday you are typically off, so flexibility with your schedule is necessary. To allow you to easily balance your other life priorities, we build out schedules for an entire month and release them a few weeks prior to the start of each month.
