Landscape Designer

Essential Functions

  • Utilize AutoCAD and related software to complete assignments on time and within prescribed standards.
  • Provide additional support including drafting documents and computations.
  • Participate in the design process including understanding of the industry standard conceptual through construction administration design phases.
  • Be able to intelligently translate abstract design sketches from colleagues into functioning digital design documents.
  • Opinions of probable costs.
  • Project schedules.
  • Preparing construction-related services.
  • Complete edits and modify plans as reviewed by agencies, municipalities, and clients.
  • Complete site visits as required.
  • Communicate with Project Manager on workload status, schedule, and tasks in order to meet designated chargeability goals.
  • An advanced understanding of the following technical skills that pertain to your region: AutoCAD, AdobeCS, Technical Writing, Revit, Lumion, MS Office.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field and/or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • 2+ years of practical experience in related field.
  • The ability to apply fundamental design concepts to practical situations utilizing your background.
