Functional Designer

Integrated into the Operations of Safran Engineering Services Bordes, you will be attached to the mechanical department. You will be integrated into the team of designers for ALSTOM projects (Railway) and will be involved in the realization/modification of electrical schematics (S&A). You will have a designer position and as such, knowledge of the SEE ELECTRICAL design tool is indispensable for the good performance of the position. Your main tasks will be:

• Based on technical documents (Synoptic, SPS, ...) provided by the project/group leader, prepare/create/modify the data in accordance with the processes in force.
• Ensure the deadlines and quality of the deliverables entrusted.
• Ensure good communication with the activity manager and alert of any potential deviations.
• Be able to present (in PowerPoint format, for example) and defend the proposed technical solution.

Job Requirements:

• Degree level Bac+2 (or equivalent) in the aeronautical field or an equivalent combination of studies and experience. A degree in the field of electrical systems is required.
• Required skills: rigor, autonomy, proposal strength, communication, skills in electrical railway schematic trades (if not aeronautical).
• You are comfortable with computer tools (notably Excel, PowerPoint, design tools type SEE ELECTRICAL).
• You are comfortable in English in writing and speaking.
