Harness Design Leader

Integrated into the Operations of Safran Engineering Services Toulouse, you will be attached to the Project Manager for Rail of the Electrical Systems Department. You will be integrated into a project team for our rail client/partner. You will act as HDL (Harness Design Leader). In this role, you will need to ensure the interface with the TEE (Train Electrical Engineer) as well as the ESSM (Electrical Sub System Manager), pilot the budget and planning associated with your project. You will report the statuses of Quality, Costs, and deadlines to the EDC Manager (Electrical Development Center). You will provide reports to management as well as the TEE, and will escalate any alerts that could potentially impact the team and its performance. You will manage the entirety of your project activities (Schematic and wiring, as well as EHI, Advanced Indus design). In addition, you will support manufacturing (internal or external), and will participate in configuration management. You will also be required to provide feedback on experiences. For the smooth running of this position, knowledge of tools like Excel, PPT, Word, as well as project management are indispensable to ensure the tasks assigned are completed in a reasonable time. Due to the constant evolution of different projects, the candidate may be required to change projects, missions, and must demonstrate adaptability and agility to effectively respond to the assigned mission. Knowledge of the rail industry would be a significant advantage.

Graduated with a level of Bac+5 (or equivalent) in the field of project management, you have the following required skills: - Autonomy - Rigor - Force of proposal - Communication - English (good level) - Project management skills. You are comfortable with computer tools (notably Excel, PowerPoint). You are comfortable with English in writing and speaking.
