The composite center of excellence (CCE) brings together more than 1000 employees across 4 sites in France, Tunisia, and Mexico. Its mission is to develop, industrialize, and manufacture the composite shells of Business and First Class seats delivered by SAFRAN Seats as well as composite sub-assemblies for the aerospace industry. The CCE is recruiting a Leader Design, based in St Crépin-Ibouvillers (60). Reporting to the Head of Studies Department, you will ensure the achievement of the technical objectives of the assemblies and sub-assemblies according to their specifications and cost objectives. To do this, you will: organize the studies (decomposition of activities, identification of needs in relation to the project schedule); pilot the progress of the activities of multidisciplinary teams (mechanical system, electrical system, and structure). In the context of the project and following the defined strategy, you will choose the appropriate technical solutions, take into account the risks and opportunities (cost, mass, time, quality…); report on the progress of projects to the project team and the Head of Studies Department; validate the passage of business milestones; validate the work requests issued by the Project Studies Managers.
We are looking for an experienced engineer or technician to strengthen our team.
You ensure that all input data are available at the right level of detail. You contribute to the V&V (Validation & Verification) of the project, animate and coordinate the V&V activities for the BE part; realize the technical specifications (Purchaser Technical Specification, Demande de Travaux, demande de Sous-Traitance); identify technical risks at the level of the assembly/sub-assembly (using the AMDEC); constitute the justification dossier for the definition.
