In the context of research and development projects, the intern will be required to design near-field magnetic probes to detect electromagnetic fields emitted by certain electronic components. The objective is to optimize the design of current near-field probes for this specific application domain and to meet the needs of the signal-to-noise ratio dynamics. This work should ultimately provide an exploitable near-field electromagnetic model. Specifically, the expected tasks will be: - Design of near-field antenna. - Simulations with 3D CST calculation tool. - Establishment of a reference method (calibration) of the probes. - Establishment of an exploitable model for a low-noise measurement chain. - Realization of prototypes and validation measurements to recalibrate the models.
Profile: BAC+5, M2 or PFE engineering school specialized in EMC, RF or antenna, motivated by the field of electromagnetism and physical measurement - inventive spirit and liking to work in a team - curious about physical phenomena and their simulation.
In terms of know-how: - You have good communication skills. - You show curiosity, autonomy, and dynamism. - You have good collaboration skills. - You have good technical documentation writing/review skills.
