Description of the Position
As a Trade Marketing Senior Specialist EMEA, you will be responsible for strengthening Salomon's presence in stores across the EMEA region by ensuring exemplary retail execution, coherent brand representation, and strong sell-out performance.
The role leads the deployment and optimization of in-store activation programs, manages key retail tools and production platforms, and drives continuous improvement based on KPIs to optimize the consumer experience in wholesale and online environments. You are also the regional point of reference for training, in alignment with Global management, ensuring the delivery of seasonal and key account training, adapting tools to regional needs, and supporting store teams and specialists through onboarding and continuous training initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
Develop In-store Presence
- Lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous expansion of in-store activation projects to ensure excellence in retail execution.
- Drive the deployment and optimization of Footwear Wall programs across different markets, ensuring coherent brand representation.
- Manage EMEA production platforms with a focus on POP D2C and Footwear Walls, ensuring timely and standard-compliant deliveries.
Excellence In-store / Online & Orientation Sell-out
- Supervise the online and offline shopping experience and monitor digital KPIs to ensure reliable performance measurement and actionable recommendations.
- Align retail marketing initiatives and provide continuous support to key accounts to maximize the impact of campaigns.
- Develop and maintain a regional playbook to elevate the consumer experience at wholesale touchpoints in stores and online.
- Support local sales teams to achieve in-store visibility objectives (MBOs).
Regional Training Responsibility EMEA
- Lead regional training, following seasonal kick-offs and "Train the Trainer" sessions organized by Global.
- Support the planning and execution of Key Account training.
- Ensure monthly connection with headquarters and countries, along with associated reporting.
- Distribute training tools to countries and adapt Global tools to regional needs (e.g., translations).
- Manage onboarding training: store openings, sell-through specialists, and training champions.
Qualifications
Essential Knowledge
- 10 years of experience in trade, retail, or 360-degree marketing.
- Experience in the sporting goods, apparel, FMCG, or consumer electronics sectors.
- Proven experience in training animation, content creation, and proficiency in presentations, public speaking, influence, stakeholder management, and performance tracking frameworks.
- Strong negotiation and change management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Desired Qualifications
- Foreign Languages: Proficiency in English, written and spoken. An additional language is a plus (French, German, Spanish, Italian).
- Education: University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
- Computer Skills: Excellent proficiency in MS Office, PowerBI, and analytics tools.
