Global E-Commerce Marketing Specialist
We are seeking a Global E-commerce Marketing Specialist to drive the strategy, planning, and execution of Salomon's ecommerce campaigns and participate in the overall on-site experience.
In this strategic and hands-on role, you will bridge the gap between Marketing teams or Regional business needs and E-commerce activation plans, ensuring:
- Seamless deployment of the campaigns across all consumer touchpoints: digital, retail, CRM, and paid media.
- Premium e-merchandising content and consumer journey optimization.
Detailed mission:
Category Ownership & Business Partnership
- Act as the key point of contact for the core categories within your scope (RUNNING)
- Provide shared support across other categories (Outdoor, Winter Sports, Apparel, Ecom specific activations)
- Lead consumer journey optimization and overall category e-merch excellence, with Marketing, Digital Product and UI/UX teams.
Brand Campaign Activation, Toolbox and Asset Delivery
- Be the voice of Ecom during Campaign briefs and asset creation within cross-functional HQ teams
- Brand campaign:
- Deliver campaign toolbox (formats, copy, translations) on time
- Manage Campaign landing pages, with UI/UX and SEO experts
- Provide e-merch guidelines on consumer journey and link with performance merchandising strategy (cross-sell, product recommendations)
- Reporting on Key campaigns (KPI on salomon.com)
Ecom Specific Campaign Activation, Toolbox and Asset Delivery
- Brief Creative team on Ecom stories (business need, budget, mood board, timings) and ensure on-shoot asset approval
- Deliver campaign toolbox (formats, copy, translations) on time
Ecom Experience and Performance Optimization
- Co-lead A/B test experimentations on campaign assets (visuals / copy) with the CRO lead and regions
- Participate in Ad-Hoc On-site experience projects (with PO team)
- Continuous internal feedback on PDP assets (visuals and copy) to Studio team, Content Team & PIM team
Required Experience:
- 3–5 years in eCommerce with emphasis on site merchandising, digital marketing, product discovery, or conversion optimization
- Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms, such as Contentful, Shopify, Magento, etc.
- Previous experience in Content creation project management (working with Agencies, Studios, Photoshoot)
- Experience with Analytics platforms (Piano, GA, Power BI) or similar tooling
- Fluent in English and French
