Staff Product Manager
SamCart builds, runs, and scales your online business. Where most platforms hand creators more work β more pages to build, more tech to figure out β our platform does the work for them, leveraging AI to guide them through best practices and strategies we have seen across thousands of creators.
That's not just how our product works. It's how we work. SamCart operates on an AI-first model β Claude is embedded into how we plan, build, and ship across every team, from initiative scoping to release documentation. This isn't a pilot. It's how we run the business today.
We believe our customers' success is our success β and we take that seriously. It's how we think about our customers, and it's how we think about our people.
SamCart is looking for a collaborative, strategic, and passionate Staff Product Manager to join our cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and QA. In this role, you'll own the full PM surface area β strategy, roadmap, feature definition, and cross-functional execution β and you'll be instrumental in shaping the product team as SamCart grows. You'll build meaningful relationships across the organization, earn the trust to take moonshots, and do work that directly impacts our customers' ability to grow their businesses on SamCart.
Responsibilities
- Learn about and become an expert in our business through building relationships with senior executives and company leadership, interviewing customers, performing qualitative and quantitative research, and collecting and analyzing data.
- Own the full PM surface area: product strategy, multi-year roadmap, feature definition, cross-functional alignment (Engineering, Design, Marketing, Support, CSM), and release execution.
- Create and manage Initiatives and Product Briefs in Linear β the source of truth for all product planning.
- Work within SamCart's AI-first operating model, using Claude skills across every phase of the product lifecycle: initiative scoping, brief creation, UX specs, change requests, and release documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve our platform's ability to drive and increase eCommerce sales, and develop innovative products to capitalize on and maximize those opportunities.
- Manage vendor and third-party partner relationships (e.g., payment processors, integration partners).
- Coordinate alpha and beta testing via LaunchDarkly, managing feature flag rollouts in partnership with Engineering.
- Conduct continuous experimentation to develop and validate new hypotheses and ensure positive impact on product KPIs.
- Deliver Business Enablement Training and weekly product updates to the business ahead of each release.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering alignment in strategy and values.
Qualifications
- Track record of building and utilizing APIs, financial products, and complex systems at scale.
- Ability to craft a compelling vision and gain support and alignment from cross-functional partners.
- Expertise in modern product discovery and delivery techniques.
- Technical skills β ability to gain an in-depth understanding of software systems and make meaningful contributions to high-stakes discussions on software architecture.
- Data-driven by default, with demonstrated proficiency using analytics and A/B testing tools to influence decision-making.
- Fluency with AI tooling or a demonstrated ability to rapidly adopt AI-first workflows. Experience with Claude or similar LLM-based tools is a strong plus.
- At least 6 years of professional product management experience at modern technology or SaaS companies.
- Prior experience in the creator economy or digital products space is a great plus.

Our Core Values
- Play to Win. We play offense every single day. Unshaken by bigger companies, we see them as proof of what's possible. We adapt, innovate, and outthink them.
- Take Risks, Embrace Failure. Fear doesn't paralyze us β standing still does. We take risks and embrace failure because it's the quickest path to success.
- Complexity is the Enemy. We keep it simple and stay lean in everything we do β our teams, projects, product, and strategies. We double down on what works, perfecting the few things we do best.
- Ahead of the Curve. Always. We combine intuition, experience, and data to drive breakthrough ideas. We stay curious, spot trends early, and know our customers, market, and business better than anyone.
- The Customer is Everything. We treat their business like it's our own. Their wins are our wins. Their goals are our goals.
- Work with Purpose, Live with Balance. Work is important, but it's not everything. Our greatest wins happen when we bring our best to work, without sacrificing what matters most: our families, friends, and personal growth.
