The ideal candidate will introduce a product management perspective to our work – providing a strategic and product-oriented mindset to elevate the execution of our craft and guide use the right work, at the right time, for the right stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish the design program management discipline and strategy for the Global UX Studio

  • Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams inside and outside of Samsung
  • Maintain appropriate program documentation related to deliverables, schedule, and budget
  • Establish, negotiate, and manage engagements with outside design agencies and contractors
  • Administer program and organizational budgets
  • Oversee the physical operations of the Global UX Studio office
  • Enable each member of the Studio to do the best work of their career

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree preferred in program management, design operations, product management, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 12+ years in industry-related, consulting, or agency experience managing teams of cross-discipline resources across locations and organizational boundaries with proven results
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, coupled with responsiveness and follow-through on details
  • Experience with intuitively selecting and implementing appropriate program and project management strategy, methodologies, and best practices
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and enable cohesiveness across diverse individual skills and styles
  • Business-level fluency in English
  • Proficiency in Korean is a plus
  • International and Domestic travel is required
