The Training Manager, Field Learning & Development plays a critical role in driving field business readiness and performance across a dynamic and evolving portfolio within the GTMC organization. This role goes beyond traditional training delivery. It is focused on ensuring the field is fully prepared to execute business strategy, with the confidence, capability, and agility needed to perform in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to translate business priorities into targeted capability-building strategies that enable field teams to deliver impact from day one—whether launching a product, adapting to market changes, or advancing customer engagement models. We are seeking individuals who will modernize how learning drives performance, bringing forward innovative approaches, future-ready skill development, and a strong orientation toward measurable business outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical, and Market Access to identify capability gaps and field readiness needs.
  • Design and deliver integrated learning strategies aligned to business priorities and readiness milestones.
  • Lead development of training solutions across product/disease education, field execution, and strategic selling.
  • Drive innovative learning approaches including digital, blended, and in-field application.
  • Support new hire onboarding to accelerate time to productivity.
  • Develop tools and resources that enable in-the-moment learning and field application.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness using performance data, feedback, and business KPIs.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-impact, modern learning experiences.
  • Support capability-building initiatives, including the Certified Field Trainer program.
  • Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment to business timing and readiness goals.
  • Engage with the field regularly to stay close to real-world execution needs.

About You

Success in this role is defined by your ability to:

  • Ensure field readiness at key business moments (e.g., launches, POAs, strategic shifts).
  • Accelerate time to performance for new hires and existing teams.
  • Build future-ready capabilities aligned to Sanofi's evolving operating model.
  • Enable the field to confidently execute on customer engagement, clinical conversations, and business priorities.
  • Translate learning into measurable performance outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Preferably Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop others through teaching, coaching, or influencing.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments is preferred.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new information in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Learning & Development, Sales Enablement, Field Training, or similar.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing or field-based teams.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills (live and virtual).
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools, LMS platforms, or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience linking training initiatives to measurable business outcomes.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to facilitate effectively in both virtual and in-person environments.
  • Willingness to travel for field engagement, training events, and business meetings.
  • Reliable infrastructure to support virtual learning delivery.
  • Compliance with current and future Home Office Attendance Policies.
