Description of the position:

• Manage and support HW FuSa (Hardware Functional Safety) activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Plan and follow up on tasks in accordance with project schedules.
• Define hardware safety requirements from technical safety requirements and perform safety metric calculations.
• Act as the interface with suppliers and clients for hardware safety topics.
• Identify and contribute to the implementation of all necessary design modifications.
• Participate in design reviews with peers and technical experts.
• Participate in the creation and updating of project deliverables, including FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), FMEA, HARA, TSC, and FSC.
• Develop test plans considering different failure modes.
• Manage project communication with stakeholders, including clients and designers.
• Use the FIDES ExpertTool for electronic reliability evaluation.
• Design Functional Safety Plan
• Design Configuration Management Plan
• Design Change Management Plan
• Design Functional Safety Assessment Plan
• Design HW Integration and Testing Plan for Safety Topics

Required skills:

• Proven experience in creating hardware safety deliverables in accordance with the ISO 26262 standard.
• Strong background in electronic circuit design and simulation.
• Good knowledge of the ISO 26262 functional safety standard.
• Good mastery of the DOORS tool for requirements management.
• Confirmed experience in hardware reliability and functional safety in the automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and great rigor.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with main hardware safety deliverables, including:
• HRS (Hardware Requirements Specification) – Specification of hardware requirements
• FMEDA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis) – Analysis of failure modes, their effects, and diagnostics
• FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) – Fault Tree Analysis
• DFA (Dependent Failure Analysis) – Analysis of dependent failures
• Design of functional safety plans

Your profile:

• Degree in electrical engineering, embedded systems, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Confirmed experience in functional safety > 2 years
