Civil Drafter/Designer

Selectek is seeking a skilled Civil Drafter/Designer to join our team and support the civil engineering group on a variety of residential and commercial land development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to contribute to projects from concept through construction completion.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree preferred (experience in lieu of degree acceptable)
• 2+ years' experience in civil drafting/design, with emphasis on residential developments
• Working knowledge of multi-family developments, small to medium commercial sites, and institutional campus improvements
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Experience in the analysis, design, and construction management of land development projects
• Familiarity with layout, grading, storm drainage networks, utility design, erosion control, road networks, specifications, permit submittals/reviews, and field inspections

Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D CAD drawings (plans, profiles, sections, details) for contract documents based on design staff input and internal drafting standards
• Prepare 3D CAD models and renderings to illustrate complex project features or structures
• Maintain drawing files, CAD standards, and other digital resources in accordance with company procedures
• Prepare graphics for engineering reports, papers, and presentations
• Train and mentor technical staff on drafting standards and procedures
• Assist with general office and administrative tasks as needed

$25.00 - $35.00
