Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer

Selectek has an immediate need for an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join their team in a Designer role. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional looking to apply their 3D CAD skills and mechanical knowledge in a hands-on engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and sketches of parts and equipment used for engineering and fabrication.
• Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) for assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Review and process production orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and structural calculations related to drawing preparation.
• Implement design changes under the direction of senior engineers or designers, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (BSME or BSMET) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred).
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a design and production team. Pay: $25.00-$27.00/hr Term: 6-months temp to perm
