Machine Designer
We are seeking an experienced Machine Designer to join our team in Verona, WI. This role focuses on custom automation design—every project is unique and requires creativity, problem-solving, and strong collaboration with engineers, vendors, and customers. You'll take part in the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to final delivery, using Autodesk Inventor to bring complex designs to life.
Highlights:
- Pay: $90k–$115k/year
- Location: Verona, WI (Onsite, M–F, 8am–5pm)
- Direct hire with long-term stability
- Overtime: ~5 hrs/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Design 3D models and engineering drawings for custom automation machinery.
- Develop BOMs, drawing packages, and documentation.
- Research specifications, source vendors, and prepare cost-effective designs.
- Collaborate with controls engineers, assemblers, and fabricators.
- Present designs in customer reviews and lead project tasks.
- Improve engineering standards and participate in shop testing/debugging.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant machine design experience, or BS in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years.
- Strong Autodesk Inventor and Vault expertise (SolidWorks acceptable with experience).
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, motor sizing, and machine controls.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- FEA, field service, or assembly experience a plus.
