Senior Electrical Designer

Selectek is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Designer to join our client's team and lead the design of electrical systems for a variety of commercial and institutional building projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in power distribution and lighting design and be able to work with minimal oversight while delivering high-quality, code-compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems for single and multi-story buildings, including healthcare, office, retail, and other commercial projects.
• Prepare single line diagrams, power distribution layouts, and lighting designs.
• Develop construction documents and coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Perform electrical design calculations including load analysis, fault current, and arc flash studies (preferred).
• Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to produce detailed design drawings and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of electrical design experience.
• Strong background in power distribution and lighting systems.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience in commercial building projects such as healthcare, office, and retail.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Government, Military, or DOD building project experience.
• Photometric design experience.
• Experience performing fault current calculations and arc flash studies.

Pay:

$80,000 - $120,000
