Senior Plumbing Design Technician
With deep experience in industrial environments to lead the design and coordination of complex plumbing systems. This role involves developing detailed construction documents, including P&IDs and layouts, while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality, constructable designs with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 8+ years of AutoCAD design experience
- 4+ years of Revit design experience
- 5+ years of industrial plumbing design experience, including layout and routing
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. Plumbing Codes, specifically the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC).
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead design, layout, and routing of industrial plumbing systems
- Develop P&IDs, plans, sections, and construction details
- Perform design tasks across planning, concept, and detailed design
- Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and internal disciplines
- Apply expert knowledge of plumbing systems and codes to ensure quality and accuracy
Pay Range:
$50/hr. - $75/hr.
