Job Description
We're looking for a strategic leader to shape and oversee our Global Marketing plan, ensuring priorities, resources, and execution align with business growth. As Senior Director of Marketing Strategic Planning, you'll guide forecasting, planning, investments, and performance measurement — keeping our global team focused, coordinated, and accountable to the company's most important goals.
This is a highly visible, cross-functional role partnering with Marketing, Finance, and Business Leadership to translate strategy into clear operating plans, enabling marketing to deliver on brand, pipeline, and growth objectives.
(Ideally based in the Bay Area is required)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full marketing planning process — annual, quarterly, and ongoing — by facilitating strategy development, aligning with global and regional business priorities, and driving target account setting, marketing execution planning, and investment prioritization within long-range and annual plans.
- Oversee performance management by building and managing OKRs/KPIs, leading quarterly business reviews, and partnering with Analytics to provide timely insights that enable fast, informed decision-making.
- Partner with Finance and Marketing Leadership on resource management throughout the year—ensuring budgets are on track, headcount capacity is managed effectively, and vendor relationships meet high-quality standards. Provide clear frameworks to guide tradeoffs and priorities.
- Maintain and communicate the comprehensive global marketing calendar, ensuring transparency across programs, campaigns, events, and milestones, while reinforcing alignment through the team's operating cadence.
- Establish scalable processes, tools, and governance models that drive consistency and clarity in planning and performance measurement across the organization.
- Lead special initiatives and assessments that advance Marketing's highest priorities.

- Proven success leading integrated planning and performance management in a global, matrixed environment.
- Strong financial and analytical skills; able to translate marketing strategies into clear investment plans and decision frameworks.
- Experience with budgeting, vendor oversight, and headcount/resource planning.
- Expertise in building and managing OKRs, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools that foster accountability.
