Job Description
The Inside Sales And Marketing Assistants (ISMA) are members of our ISM team. They help internal sales managers to gather documentation, generate customer quotes, enter/update quotes and other information in CRM, update information in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), market research, and other tasks as needed.
Specific Responsibilities:
- At all times, comply with the SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
- Generate accurate quotes and marked according to SGS standards.
- Assist as needed in the compilation of required documentation for RFPs: certifications, resumes, etc.
- Help with follow-up notifications on older existing quotes as required by affiliate managers.
- Enter quotes and RFP data into appropriate systems (e.g., LIMS, CRM, etc.)
- Update changes in customer information in appropriate systems as instructed.
- Market research or customer requests may include the following:
- Internet search for customer data or articles on vertical markets, regulations, etc.
- Lead generation: Search for contact lists in various markets
- Review competitor website and summarize information
- Communicate as needed with ISM and other internal staff.
- Develop skills and knowledge to progress in your career.
- Build trust by providing timely responses to all inquiries, whether by Teams, email, or phone.
- Promote a positive "can do" attitude and a safe work environment.
- Be well-informed and comply with SGS procedures and standards.
- Take initiative in everything we do and perform other tasks as needed to promote the mission of service, quality, and growth of SGS.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Comply with all SGS QHSE and HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
Education:
- Technical, Technologist, or final semester student of Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations to clients or employees of the organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Intermediate personal computer knowledge, including email, Microsoft Office, job task requests, Internet, online data system.
Experience: Between 1 to 2 years of experience in similar roles or more.
Technical Skills:
- Intermediate Microsoft Office.
- Languages: English B2 or higher.
Additional Information
Schedule: Monday to Friday, generally 8:00am to 5:00pm, however flexibility is required in case some change is required from 7:00am to 4:00pm or 11:00am to 8:00pm.
Mode: On-site.
Salary: 2,600,000 COP
Contract work or labor for 6 months initially. Option to transition to indefinite contract according to performance.
