Job Description

Development and execution of sales to ensure the fulfillment of the assigned monthly quota through prospecting, business development, and mapping of opportunities and clients through in-person visits to clients and understanding their needs.

Requirements

  • Search, identification, and prospecting of potential clients, to offer solutions adhering to SGS "Industries & Environment" services related to SSMA Supervision, Industrial Hygiene, and Sustainability.
  • Experience in sales and development of service solutions for SSMA, Industrial Hygiene, and Sustainability in Mexico.
  • Understanding of the value proposition and service portfolio of its business unit, SGS "Industries & Environment" in scopes of Supervision, Management, Consulting, Diagnostics, technical studies of Operational Safety, Health and Environment, and Sustainability.
  • Ensure the fulfillment of the assigned monthly and annual sales quota.
  • Complete understanding of the focused sector environment, Mexican Official Standards, environmental consultants, competitors.
  • Develop a business plan for its portfolio that includes in-person visits, mapping of opportunities, mapping of clients with the aim of promoting the creation of a pipeline and the conversion of these into new businesses, focus on generating projects larger than USD20K.
  • Complete the information of commercial opportunities within our Salesforce system or equivalent and effectively manage the platform and the required commercial coordination.
  • Participate in forums, fairs, chambers, etc., to promote the brand and attract new clients.
  • Stay updated regarding the solutions and technologies used in the business.
  • Control the business portfolio and be responsible for the commercial strategy.

Additional Information

  • Education: Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, or related.
  • More than 8 years of experience in sales and business development in the operational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental, or sustainability sector of Mexico.
  • Proven track record of attracting and retaining high-profile clients and large projects in SSMA, Industrial Hygiene, or Sustainability in Mexico.
