Creative Services Project Manager

This position serves as an integral member of the Creative Services project management team, responsible for overseeing projects from initiation through completion and coordinating with cross-functional partners to ensure effective delivery. The role is pivotal within the Performance Coatings Group (PCG) MarCom team, working in close collaboration with Creative Services, Customer Engagement, and Digital teams to support PCG business objectives by implementing cohesive and impactful marketing and communications initiatives.

This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113.

Responsibilities

Lead the execution of marketing and communications initiatives by managing workflows via Workfront, ensuring projects are strategically aligned with and support the business objectives of the Performance Coatings Group.

  • Evaluate, prioritize, and sequence projects based on business impact, urgency, and resource capacity.
  • Manage resource management efforts by strategically assigning appropriate resources, forecasting and managing hour allocation, and overseeing timelines to support efficient execution and successful project delivery.
  • Traffic and follow up with clients on projects and status.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively recommend solutions to maintain momentum on high-priority initiatives.
  • Ensure campaign execution aligns with defined business objectives and success measures.
  • Facilitate projects with external resources as needed to meet delivery timelines and brief expectations. Own the management of the external vendor budget and invoice processing.
  • Coordinate and lead project kickoff, weekly division status and other internal/external meetings as appropriate.
  • Prepare related documents such as meeting agendas, meeting reports and other internal/client communications and correspondence as appropriate. Organize and retain documents.
  • Provide comprehensive support for reporting and analytical initiatives. Contribute to the enhancement of data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Analyze Workfront performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities that inform planning, prioritization, and process improvement. Translate data into actionable recommendations for Creative Services leadership and internal clients.
  • Support the development of new Workfront reports and dashboards.
  • With guidance from the Creative Services Project Manager, contribute to the strategic evolution of workflows and processes, including exploring AI-enabled tools and capabilities that enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and support continuous improvement across cross-functional groups.
  • Play a key role in the planning and execution of the annual PCG Sales Meeting

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1, etc.).
  • Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
  • Must have two (2) years of marketing, communications and/or project management experience
  • Must have at least one (1) year experience with Microsoft Office/365 skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have a bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, communications and/or business
  • Have five (5) years of marketing, communications and/or project management experience
  • Have experience with workfront or other project management software experience (Wrike, Trello, and/or Asana)
  • Have experience with the Adobe products (Adobe Creative Suite, AEM, and/or Marketo)
  • Have experience with marketing agency or account management
  • Have experience digital marketing
