Bioprocess Automation Product Manager

Responsible for the scientific, technical and regulatory positioning of bioprocess automation products for the biopharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on strategy, innovation and market leadership:

Development and implementation of mid- to long-term strategies for the portfolio and modalities/applications in scope

Active portfolio development deriving from strategy through innovations to build long-term growth, address customers pain points and increase competitiveness.

Define product/portfolio positioning based on application for new and existing products/portfolio and align with stakeholders on GTM approach.

Strategic business planning such as long-range planning and life cycle management

Own Pricing Strategy for specific portfolio responsibility and demonstrate agility to evaluate and approve pricing strategies based on guidance and recommendations from the Pricing Strategy team.

Alignment and high degree of interaction with R&D, Strategy, Quality, Supply chain, Manufacturing, Commercial and external partners.

Combine highly strategic thinking with strong operational execution skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent quantitative/financial/business management experience

5+ years of relevant professional experience in strategic product management with Software/Industrial Automation companies

Experience with B2B business models for technology heavy products

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to build and interpret business and market data

Ability to translate scientific knowledge into clear marketing messages

Ability to collaborate within a complex international network of functions and stakeholders (Commercial, R&D, Field Services, Quality, Operations)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Natural Science: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharma

Masters, MBA, or PhD preferred.

Role based in Bedford, MA and must have the ability to travel internationally (up to 30%)
