Sky Zone

An indoor trampoline park offering freestyle bouncing, dodgeball, fitness programs, and birthday parties for all ages.

Architectural Designer

At Sky Zone, our mission is to enrich lives through the power of boundless play – whether that's on the trampoline court, behind the scenes, or at the corporate level. We believe play fuels confidence, connection, and joy, and we're proud to create experiences that reflect that purpose in everything we do.

As the leader in active indoor entertainment, we host unforgettable birthdays, team events, and school parties across the country. Backed by our parent company, CircusTrix, and recognized as a top franchise and growth brand, we continue to raise the bar for innovation and impact in the industry.

Our culture is shaped by our core values: We Play Without Limits, Ignite Innovation, Grow Together, Fuel Joy, and Serve Big, Give Bigger. Whether in a park or a boardroom, these values guide how we lead, collaborate, and show up for each other and for the communities we serve.

You're a creative thinker with technical chops, a strong eye for detail, and a knack for balancing brand standards with buildable solutions. You know how to bring a space to life – not just on paper, but through thoughtful design choices that support guest experience, operational flow, and real-world construction needs. You're collaborative, organized, and ready to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Above all, you design with purpose - and just like us, you believe safety and play belong in every detail.

As an Architectural Designer at Sky Zone, you're bringing our parks to life through thoughtful, buildable design by:

  • Developing full design packages for new builds and renovations — including test fits, final plans, and FF&E selections (flooring, finishes, paint, graphics, furniture, and equipment).
  • Reviewing architectural drawing sets from external firms to ensure brand consistency, code compliance, layout efficiency, and construction accuracy.
  • Applying internal brand guidelines and building code knowledge to meet all required design standards.
  • Serving as the primary design contact for franchise partners — leading calls, presenting design concepts, and reviewing space plans in detail.
  • Guiding franchisees through renovation projects with clear documentation and professional, timely communication.
  • Communicating complex design and technical concepts in clear, approachable language for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (construction, attractions, supply chain, engineering) and aligning with third-party vendors and consultants to ensure successful project execution.
  • Managing multiple design projects at once and prioritizing deadlines, maintaining organization, and tracking documentation with precision.

What you bring to the team:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience using AutoCAD and Revit through professional roles, internships, or formal coursework.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D drawing production, with demonstrated hands-on experience.
  • Space planning skills with a solid understanding of design standards and layout efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and visual communication skills, able to present concepts clearly and confidently.
  • Exceptional organization and project management, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Architectural drawings and construction details expertise, with the ability to both interpret and produce accurate documents.
  • Fluency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Ability to remain stationary while working at a computer and communicating via phone and Teams for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Every Sky Zone park starts with a great design – one that fuels fun, flows effortlessly, and brings our brand to life in every square foot. As an Architectural Designer, you help transform blank floorplans into high-energy playgrounds where guests of all ages can jump, climb, and connect. Your work sets the stage for unforgettable experiences, helps franchisees feel confident in their builds, and ensures every new park reflects the creativity, innovation, and playfulness at the heart of who we are.
