What You Will Be Doing:

• Develop and manage product offerings from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
• Create and manage project timelines, working cross-functionally to keep initiatives on schedule.
• Oversee and/or develop policy forms for new products using ISO or competitor forms; proprietary forms may also be developed as needed, including with external support.
• Build buy-in for product vision across internal departments.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements that balance product accuracy and completeness with speed to market.
• Identify product gaps and opportunities; generate ideas to improve customer experience and drive growth.
• Lead product launches in coordination with marketing, sales, and company leadership.
• Demonstrate that product offerings meet customer needs and are competitive from a rate perspective.
• Understand market demand and stay current on regulatory and legal environments in active and target states.
• Research new product opportunities from competitive and regulatory perspectives and communicate findings to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• May have direct reports, with responsibility for providing guidance, setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across internal departments and contribute to broader product strategy initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Already Have:

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, risk management, mathematics, statistics, or a related field required; MBA preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of product management experience in P&C lines relevant to Slide's current or planned offerings is required.
• Insurance-related designations (CPCU, etc.) preferred.
• Experience conducting competitive rate analyses; advanced skills in Excel (including VBA) or programming languages like R or Python are a plus.
• Demonstrated experience managing all aspects of the product life cycle, from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.
• Experience in developing policy forms.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

• Proven ability to collaborate across the organization to develop product offerings that meet diverse stakeholder needs.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal and external personnel.
• Strong ability to build positive relationships with internal departments. This involves being approachable, respectful, and proactive in reaching out for collaboration.
• Problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Ability to learn new systems and applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
