As a Geotechnical Designer, you will be a member of a multidisciplinary team working in energy and resources, primarily on metal, coal and large oil sands mining projects. Work will include various stages in the project life cycle, from exploration and site investigations, through conceptual design, construction, closure and reclamation. Our geotechnical project work typically involves design and evaluation of pit walls, mine rock and tailings storage facilities, and surface water impoundments. Applicants must be prepared to travel and be in the field for assignment intervals of 2 to 3 weeks regularly up to 50% annually.
