Marketing Internship Opportunity

Your Opportunity: We have an exciting three-month marketing internship opportunity with our North America Marketing team. This position calls for someone who is curious, eager to learn, flexible, and is passionate about using marketing, communications, and promotions tools and tactics to connect people, tell our story, and elevate our brand in the marketplace. In this role, you will work within Stantec's North America marketing team to gain hands-on experience contributing to and supporting a wide range of marketing, communications, promotions, and administrative activities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the full range of business marketing and communications needs including developing and implementing strategies, plans and materials
  • Work closely with Promotions teams to support conferences, tradeshows, and client events
  • Support system updates and maintenance, including the Stantec Marketing Knowledge Centre
  • Write, format, and template content in our brand voice and style for various channels to support our digital marketing and communications initiatives
  • Work across the North America marketing team to support general day-to-day efforts and special projects as they arise

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

  • Detail oriented and organized with strong analytical, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to, Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and web-based interfaces
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team, as well as independently
  • Comfort working within the professional social media marketing space: LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign is a plus!

Your Education and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree in business, marketing, journalism, communications, public relations, or an equivalent level of experience

Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.11 Hourly

Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law). Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
