In the role of Mechanical Design Lead, you will be ensuring consistency of design across multiple Mechanical Engineers and Mechanical Designers within a project. You will also provide judgments and direction when conflicting mechanical designs need to be resolved. This role will require regular connections with the internal engineer/design team and clients when working through design challenges with the client's technical team. Your home office will be in Sudbury, ON or Saskatoon, SK.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Experience: 15 plus years of mechanical mining experience in the following areas:
Working Conditions: Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements, underground work and may involve travel outside of normal working hours.

Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
