Perform civil and structural analysis and design for concrete and steel structures. Prepare studies, design criteria, design reports, plans and specifications, quality assurance reviews of related designs and construction plans in support of construction. Organize, draft, and coordinate production of various reports to ensure technical consistency and inclusion of appropriate engineering documentation. Support team of junior structural engineers executing civil structural analyses and design work packages including calculations, analysis models, and design drawings. Inspect construction for compliance with specifications, and review drawings. Support multi-disciplinary teams on civil and structural engineering projects. Assist with preparation of budgets and scopes of work. Support project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, and completing progress reports. Assist technical staff in field activities including site inspections, shop inspections, monitoring and other fieldwork. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). Salary range is $118,581 - $140,800 per year. Individuals in this position may be paid a discretionary bonus. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, & work location.
Requirements:
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Chicago, IL may be permitted up to 3 days a week, depending on business need. Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%. Travel to various international locations required up to 10%.
