Product Partnerships Senior Manager

As a key member of the Product Business Development team, you'll be a highly visible leader, responsible for generating, managing, and driving some of Salesforce's most impactful and strategic partnerships. This includes developing partnership strategy, leading financial analysis, and handling all aspects of deal negotiation and relationship management. This role involves navigating complex, non-traditional deals that require sophisticated stakeholder management and have broad strategic implications for Salesforce. You will simultaneously drive multiple initiatives across our entire product portfolio, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams in Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Legal.

Drive Innovation Through Partnerships

  • Source, close, and expand strategic partnerships that extend the functionality of the Salesforce product portfolio through innovative integrations, connectors, and new features.
  • Identify opportunities to fill product gaps with partner-driven solutions, leading the entire process from deal structure to internal alignment.
  • Champion creative business models that deliver value for our customers while ensuring mutual success for our partners.
  • Shape the future of our product offerings by identifying and integrating solutions that enhance the customer experience.

Strategic Deal Execution

  • Own the full partnership lifecycle: from initial market analysis and outreach to negotiation, contracting, and go-to-market readiness.
  • Navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and move quickly to structure first-of-their-kind deals.
  • Ensure partner engagements are scalable and built for long-term success, with a focus on creating new partnerships and expanding existing ones to drive continuous innovation.

Cross-Functional Influence

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across all Salesforce product teams to align on roadmap gaps and leverage ecosystem opportunities.
  • Act as a thought leader on the product partnership landscape and new business models.
  • Contribute to strategy sessions, internal readouts, and business cases with clear, insightful analysis.

Minimum Requirements

  • 7+ years in business development with strategic partnerships, corporate development, or platform strategy, ideally in the SaaS or cloud ecosystem.
  • Proven experience leading complex deal cycles and building new business models (e.g., revenue shares, embedded experiences, ecosystem monetization).
  • Strong commercial instincts combined with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including business case development and partner storytelling.
  • Ability to structure and analyze the quantitative impact of partnerships on the business. Note: This role is office-flexible, and the expectation is to be in office 3 days per week (Seattle/Bellevue, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin or New York).
