About the Role

We are searching for a Director, Digital Growth APAC to support our APAC team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and accelerating the growth of Subway's digital business across the diverse APAC region, driving the commercial performance, operational excellence and strategic scaling of 3rd Party Delivery (3PD), e-commerce, CRM/Loyalty and Growing Digital and Known Diner Sales.

Reporting into the Snr. Director of Regional Marketing, APAC, this role owns the regional digital strategy and execution across key digital touchpoints including mobile app, delivery, catering, and emerging digital platforms. The role acts as the primary business, relationship, and commercial leader for all relevant third-party digital vendors, including but not limited to 3PD platforms, catering partners, e-commerce providers, and elements of the digital technology stack.

This role works cross-functionally within APAC (Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Technology, Finance, Legal, Analytics) to deliver commercial outcomes, while actively exchanging learnings and best practices with other regions. The role ensures strong regional alignment and scalable execution across APAC markets.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

APAC Digital Business Leadership & Growth

Lead APAC digital channels across e-commerce, 3PD, catering, CRM/Loyalty and emerging platforms to drive growth, owning annual sales forecasts, growth plans and targets for Growing Digital and Known Diner sales, translating regional brand and marketing strategies into effective digital and off-premises execution and identifying new digital revenue streams across diverse APAC markets.

Cross-Functional Digital Strategy & Execution

Partner cross-functionally with AGMs, Marketing, Operations, Development, Technology, Supply Chain, Finance and Legal to deliver digital initiatives end-to-end, optimising the front-end digital guest experience including UI/UX across owned and third-party ordering platforms, working with backend Technology teams to optimise and evolve the digital technology stack, and setting digital priorities and roadmaps that ensure operational readiness and market adoption.

Sales Growth, Strategy Ownership & Regional Best Practices

Drive sales growth through disciplined execution that improves efficiency, guest satisfaction and results, own the APAC annual and multi-year digital growth strategy and roadmap implementation, set growth priorities across 3PD, e-commerce, CRM/Loyalty, catering and emerging channels, act as the APAC business stakeholder for digital and technology innovation, exchange best practices with regional counterparts to scale proven ideas and pilots, and represent APAC insights in regional leadership forums to shape broader digital thinking.

3rd Party & Digital Vendor Leadership

Act as the primary business, relationship and commercial lead for all APAC digital vendors, owning prioritization, performance management and commercial governance across 3PD, catering and e-commerce partners, and supporting negotiations, renewals and ongoing optimization in partnership with Finance and Legal.

CRM, Loyalty & Known Diner Growth

Drive CRM and Loyalty adoption to increase frequency, retention and known diner penetration, improving guest segmentation, personalization and lifecycle engagement through data-led marketing, and connecting digital touchpoints into a seamless and repeatable guest experience.

Performance Management, Analytics & Reporting

Define and track KPIs, dashboards and reporting cadences across digital channels, monitor platform performance, guest experience and operational metrics, and use insights to continuously optimize sales, profitability and execution quality.

Requirements & Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, eCommerce, technology.
  • 8 - 10+ years of management experience in off-premises, digital or marketing with strong business, financial and technology acumen
  • QSR/ Restaurant/ Retail experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience managing relationships with 3PD partners in APAC (e.g., Meituan, Eleme, Coupang, Grab, Foodpanda, UberEats, Deliveroo, etc.), including coordinating performance reviews, execution plans, and local market optimization.
  • Experience running structured pilots and tests in digitally variable markets, with the ability to adapt solutions for both high-maturity (e.g., ANZ, China, Singapore, Korea) and developing (e.g., Indonesia, Philippines) markets.
  • Comfort with digital systems and integrations, including POS, CRM, and delivery platform tools, with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate solutions with IT and market teams.
  • Executive influencer with strong interpersonal and written communication skills, building business cases and articulating them for the executive leadership and other internal/external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated team player that brings excitement and enthusiasm to work each day and has strong cross functional experience, emotional intelligence and empathy to lead a high performing team.
  • Successful track record leading off-premises or digital teams in a high growth environment and a strong consumer brand with track record of achieving results and driving improvements.
  • Ability to inspire and promote an entrepreneurial spirit of resourcefulness and adaptability across the organization while professionalizing the business
  • Balances strategic acumen and setting the vision with hands-on teaching/leadership where necessary; willing to roll-up sleeves to support the work
  • A growth mindset: track record of leveraging learnings, demonstrates entrepreneurial spirit, always imagining what's possible
