Digital Dexterity Curriculum Designer
Job Description
Accountabilities:
Curriculum ownership: Maintain and evolve the end-to-end Digital Dexterity curriculum in Bloom and associated toolkits so content is current, coherent and aligned to program outcomes and competency frameworks.
Design & development: Create engaging, discovery-based learning experiences (e-learning, micro-learning, virtual ILT, facilitator guides, hands-on labs, assessments and job aids) that work across delivery formats and audiences.
Repurposing for scale: Produce reusable assets and guides that non-trainers (champions, managers, community leads) can use to deliver office hours, town halls, small group sessions and on-the-job coaching.
Subject matter collaboration: Partner with Digital Dexterity SMEs and cross-functional partners (Global Learning, IT, DD&T teams) to translate technical topics (everyday AI, automation, data literacy, collaboration tools) into effective learning experiences.
Quality & compliance: Apply Takeda's instructional standards and adult learning best practices; ensure content quality, accessibility and correct use of corporate branding, policies and any regulatory requirements.
Continuous improvement: Use learner feedback and analytics to iterate content, measure learning effectiveness (completion, knowledge checks, application) and optimize for adoption.
Delivery support: Support live sessions (facilitation support, train-the-trainer), office hours, and champion programs; prepare facilitators and maintain facilitator materials.
Tooling & production: Author and maintain content in Bloom and in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate/Storyline, Adobe Captivate or equivalent); prepare basic multimedia (video edits, captions) or coordinate with vendors where required.
Stakeholder engagement: Build strong working relationships with local markets, regional learning leads and Digital Dexterity stakeholders to ensure adoption and relevance of the curriculum.
Education, Behavioural Competencies and Skills:
Technical / Functional Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM or equivalent) and discovery-based/experiential learning design.
- Experience designing digital learning for both asynchronous and virtual instructor-led delivery (micro-learning, interactive e-learning, assessments, facilitator guides).
- Hands-on experience with an LMS/LXP (EdCast, SAP SF, or similar) and content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar). Experience with Bloom (EdCast) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with learning analytics and basic evaluation methods (Kirkpatrick/Phillips or equivalent) to measure and improve learning effectiveness.
- Comfortable converting technical topics (AI basics, automation, collaboration tools, data literacy) into simple, usable learning journeys.
- Basic multimedia skills (video editing, captioning, image prep) or experience working with production vendors.
- Strong project management skills — able to scope, prioritize and deliver multiple content streams on time.
- Excellent business English written and verbal communication; able to write clear learning scripts, facilitator notes and job aids.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, Communication, Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience as an instructional designer (or similar L&D role) designing digital learning for adult audiences.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing) — required for content creation and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience with learning authoring tools and an LMS/LXP.
- Proven portfolio or samples of digital learning assets and curriculum work.
Desirable
- Prior experience designing learning about digital skills, AI fundamentals, data literacy or productivity/collaboration tools.
- Experience working in a global/matrix organization and familiarity with localizing content.
- Familiarity with Bloom or Takeda learning platforms and governance practices.
