Senior Product Owner / Proxy PO (FinTech & AI-Enabled)

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Product Owner / Proxy PO to join an international banking technology team. This role sits at the critical intersection of business strategy and engineering, specifically focusing on Client Contribution and Client P&L solutions.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, structured professional capable of translating complex functional needs into actionable technical delivery. You will drive execution within a distributed team (primarily based in Poland) and champion a modern, AI-enabled lean delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

• Backlog Management: Translate high-level business requirements into detailed, actionable user stories and technical specifications.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and expectations.
• Project Orchestration: Lead project delivery, planning, and coordination, ensuring that milestones are met within a complex, international environment.
• Risk & Dependency Mitigation: Proactively identify, track, and manage risks and cross-team dependencies to ensure smooth delivery cycles.
• AI Integration: Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate workflows, document processes, and improve team productivity.
• Agile Leadership: Foster a lean, efficient delivery environment, focusing on continuous improvement and value-driven results.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience: Extensive experience as a Product Owner or Proxy PO within technology-driven environments.
• Execution Mindset: Proven track record of successful project delivery and a senior, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills in English (B2+/C1 level), with the ability to navigate diverse international teams.
• Technical Literacy: Ability to bridge the gap between functional business needs and technical implementation details.
• AI Proficiency: (Key Differentiator) Practical experience using AI tools to structure problems, automate routine tasks, and iterate quickly.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Domain Expertise: Background in Banking or Financial Services, specifically regarding Client Contribution or Client P&L processes.
• Agile Mastery: Deep familiarity with Agile frameworks and standard tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Efficiency-First: A pragmatic approach to "lean" team structures and the use of automation/AI agents.
