UX/UI Designer

Techland's UX/UI team is responsible for presenting our players with information they need, when they need it, in ways that are easily understandable and intuitive. All of our HUDs, menus, and other graphical elements players interact with are our bread-and-butter.
Job Description
- Work closely with Game Design, Art, UI Programming, and Production teams to shape the UX and interfaces of our games, acting as a bridge between aesthetics and functionality.
- Define player experiences through user stories and flows, then visualize them with wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma.
- Refine your designs based on stakeholder feedback, team critique, and playtest results.
- Prepare final-quality assets and implement them directly in-engine using our dedicated proprietary GUI Editor tools.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience designing UI for video games.
- A portfolio demonstrating game interfaces created for consoles and/or PC, showcasing both UX logic and UI art skills.
- High proficiency in Figma or a similar software, for wireframing, UI design, and prototyping.
- Comfort and willingness to learn proprietary software to integrate your own UI assets directly into the game engine.
- Very good understanding of interaction design and a strong familiarity with User-Centered Design (UCD) principles.
- Proven know-how to present complex concepts in easy-to-digest ways and strategically draw players' eyes to critical information.
- Solid understanding of the game industry, video games, and current interface trends.
- Fluent communication in English, both verbal and written (minimum level B2).
