This is an opportunity to take a leading role in coordinating multidisciplinary design solutions within highly regulated sectors including defence, nuclear, science and government infrastructure.
Reporting to the Technical Director for Design Management, you will lead the coordination of internal and external design teams across a portfolio of complex engineering projects. Working closely with the Design Manager and project controls team, you will ensure that design delivery aligns with programme, commercial objectives and governance requirements.
You will play a key role across both bid and live project stagesāsupporting tender submissions, developing execution plans, and overseeing the delivery of compliant, high-quality design outputs. The role requires strong engagement with multidisciplinary teams to manage risk, drive collaboration, and ensure design solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.
You will be central to ensuring that design risks are identified early, managed proactively, and aligned with commercial outcomes. By coordinating design inputs, facilitating technical workshops, and maintaining robust governance and reporting standards, you will directly influence project success.
Your ability to challenge, review and refine design information will ensure accuracy and viability, while your oversight of change control, forecasting and reporting will support strong commercial performance across projects.
