Structural Designer

Bentley MicroStation experience required

Work with our talented designers and engineers to deliver feasibility studies and detailed design projects to our mining and infrastructure clients across all phases of the project life cycle from identification to operations and maintenance.

About the Role

Based in our Perth office, this role will consist of developing structural designs and drawings in conjunction with the civil, mechanical, piping, electrical and architectural streams of the business. Your experience will include structural designs including 3D modelling and 2D drafting for preparing plans, elevations and detail drawings for tender and construction purposes.

About You

Your essential experience should include:

• 5 to 10 years' structural drafting
• Working to Australian design standards
• Bentley MicroStation for 2D drafting is a must
• Bentley ProStructures for 3D modelling is desirable
• AutoCAD and Revit capabilities are also valuable
• A high level of competence in Microsoft Office suite of applications, in particular MS Word, and Excel
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written
• Good organisational and time management skills
• A willingness to travel to regional WA on an occasional basis
